Barcelona "science day" in December 2018 -- part of monthly science meet by Indian scholars in Barcelona, Spain. Nearly 15 scholars gathered. Madhulika Rai gave a popular seminar on the 'History of Cancer'. Mohit Lal Bera presented slides highlighting the recent unscientific statements made by the Indian ministers. The program ended with a discussion on recent state of scientific temperament in India and our responsibilities. 

Barcelona "science day" in November -- part of monthly science meet by Indian scholars in Barcelona, Spain. Nearly 15 scholars gathered to hear a very interesting talk by Sohan Kale on 'application of optical tweezers in biology'. Manabendra Nath Bera gave a overview on the upcoming National level conference on "Integrating Science with Society" in Kolkata, from 15-16 December 2018.

Barcelona "science day" in October -- part of monthly science meet by Indian scholars in Barcelona, Spain. Nearly 10 scholars gathered together to talk about LIGO and gravitation waves. The main speaker was Ankit Nath. The program ended with a discussion on cast-based honor-killing in India.

Barcelona "science day" in September -- part of monthly science meet by Indian scholars in Barcelona, Spain. It was a rare previlage to have Prof. Saumitro Banerjee between us. Nearly 20 Indian students and scholars gathered to interact with him. Vast range of topics were discussed, led by Prof. Banerjee, centering on the state of scientific temperament in India and our duty.

Barcelona "science day" on 8th July 2018 -- part of monthly science meet by Indian scholars in Barcelona, Spain. Nearly 15 Indian scholars got together. Ronak Kosti, a PhD student in artificial intelligence, presented a popular science seminar on "Emotion in Context". Manabendra Nath Bera discussed on the website for International Platform of IMFS-A. Bhanu Prakash, a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering, detailed of a telescope that is to be sent as science materials for students in India. 

Barcelona "science day" on 26th May 2018 -- part of monthly science meet by Indian scholars in Barcelona, Spain. Nearly ten Indian scholars gathered. Nimesh Chahare, a PhD student, presented a popular science seminar on soft robotics. Manabendra Nath Bera discussed on possible future plans of India March for Science. Bhanu Prakash, a PhD student, updated the progress regarding their initiative to buy telescopes and other science materials for students in India.
